Setup Fee
If you're selling a subscription, and you want to have a setup fee or different first payment amount, you can follow the instructions below.
Ensure you're using the Personal Plan or higher to be able to designate a setup fee.
When any subscription period is selected, just check the box for "Different first payment amount."
Important: The first payment amount cannot be set to 0. That would be considered a free trial, and free trials are not yet supported by Payment Page. This documentation will be updated when it's available. Reach out to support to make a request if you want free trial functionality.
Once you've enabled the "Different first payment amount," you will also see the corresponding field to display the "First Payment Amount" on the pricing dropdown, and submit buttons:
